There have been more than enough "close calls" to keep me satisfied for the rest of my life. I almost smoked my own leg with the sledge hammer. Almost stabbed myself with a crow bar. Had nails go right between my toes. And I almost fell onto a pile of freshly removed wall panels loaded with broken jags. Either way, the progress has been great.
I'm standing in the mudroom and you can now see to the front of the house. There used to be 3 walls there.
The left side where the orange and the green are, are now gone as well. See picture 2.

I'm standing in the living room area looking towards the mud room and this is the 'orange and green wall'. Now I can see right through it and into the kitchen. Right on.
slowly but surely, it's coming along.
I've also begun to strip the kitchen cabinet doors. They're solid wood, just painted stupid colours over the years. It's taking a lot of fucking work to paint strip the amount that needs to be paint stripped. But it'll save me cost, and look better in the end than having bought new cabinets. They appear to be solid oak with a tiger striping wood grain. Really neat. When I lacquer it, it should make it pop. Hopefully. I'm just doing one first to see how it turns out before I strip all of it.
