I find that I can keep my mind busiest when tearing out lino flooring. It's tedious, time consuming and you can only get away will 4 or 5 square inches at a time. But it's repetitive and repetition eases most minds. Like mine. So here I sit in the RV after an hour or so of ripping pieces of my house down.
Oh, I never mentioned the RV, hey? So let me explain. While gutting the entire interior of the house, my dogs and I have limited clean areas to stay so my father dropped off his RV. He spent 3 times my house on this RV. It has a fire place. A fan. Shag carpet. Mood lighting, an almost gourmet kitchen with bar stools. A full bedroom and a bathroom nicer than mine. 2 reclining sofa chairs and a large couch that turns into a bed. A massive LCD tv with 6 CD changer and that's just to name a few things. It's modern in deco and it's really cozy. Huge. Massive. And it takes up half of my lot. I'm not one who is really into travelling but damn, I'd do it with this thing. I'll take pictures of it tomorrow. A fire place?!?! haha. Unreal. I'm very grateful for this. Anything that anyone has done to help me get this house into a home, really. Thanks guys!
My boys are sleeping on the carpet right now. Completely at home. Which is good.
I have to hang out "beware of dogs" signs around the property. Why? Because I came home to find my wide gate completely open and my front door open. The problem with many, many small towns is the curiosity of it's residents. The nosey people. And they're trespassing to get a closer look. So I'm letting James bark and snarl more, hopefully people will get the idea. Too bad he doesn't have teeth. But they don't know that. Lol.
Time to have a bath and get my tan on.
